Well folks, are you sick and tired of seeing gasoline prices go up and up and up with no apparent end in sight? What will $7.00/gallon do to your vacation plans, job commute, and cost of food and clothing? Thank the radical environmentalists who have leveraged our elected officials (mainly Democrats) to continue to vote "NO" on new oil and gas drilling ventures in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico. Both Alaska and the Gulf contain billions of barrels of petroleum resources, but American oil corporations are hamstrung to do anything thanks to the political liberals. And thank the environmentalists for stopping the buidling of new nuclear power plants too. The fact remains that the American consumer will continue to pay "till it hurts even more" while the Democrats in Congress answer us with lofty platitudes and excuses for inaction.
When will the silent majority do something to stop this politcal insanity as our leaders continue to choke our own economic throats?

I note that the SPCD's* have P.T. (or is it T.P.) Pickins on their side. He wants to "PLANT" Windmills all over the landscape--why is it that puting Windmills on every hill and field, that will only produce something like.03% of power ok, but Oilwells that will produce 90% of our power needs and more if you add nuclear power are verboton--there is something wrong with this logic, OH I forgot the SPCD's* don't use logic
